Journal style and focus

The Analyst Journal seeks to encourage balanced and objective commentary on matters of importance, by accessing timely and salient information that may not have been considered in the mainstream, often from theorists and commentators from related or tangential disciplines. We encourage a dialectic approach and encourage authors to respond to current debates that are of significance, and that may have already received comment from prior Analyst contributors or those in the mainstream. The core coverage of the journal is quite broad encompassing economics, politics, financial markets, science, business, technology, religion and philosophy.

The Analyst Journal is an independent publication that seeks to champion the work of emerging voices, established practitioners and theorists of all persuasions. Analyst Journal is an independent unaffiliated journal, and aims to afford its readership with critical commentary and analysis in relation to matters of salience in the public forum. The masthead of the Analyst is maintained by the Micah Group Pty Ltd (ACN 144 808 453).
